As part of the Give it up for Margaret – a month of philanthropic inspiration program, being supported by the Margaret Lawrence Bequest, the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne Business School and Creative Partnerships Australia are bringing Ben Cameron from the New York-based Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to Australia.

Ben Cameron is Program Director for the Arts at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation in New York. In that capacity he supervises a $13 million grants program focusing on organisations and artists in the theatre, contemporary dance, jazz and presenting fields.

This practitioners workshop, developed for both philanthropists and arts organisations will explore best practice grant making in the arts and focus on frameworks for impact from an Australian and international perspective.
